Our Veterinary Technicians

 

 

Sheri is an Army veteran and graduate of The Vet Tech Institute in Houston. She is a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT).  She has been a member of our team since August 2009.

A recent Houstonian, she hails from New Mexico and in her spare time enjoys traveling abroad, camping, and reading. She has a fascination with wolves and would like to work with wildlife and exotic animals in the future.

Sheri shares her home with 4 ferrets: Houdini, Appollo, Lily, and Aires.

 
 

Hurshel is a Certified Veterinary Assistant.  He has worked in the field of veterinary medicine since 2005.  He has participated in an Emergency First Aid for Pets course, with an emphasis on CPR for animals.  He is studying to take the Level II examination of the Certified Veterinary Assistant program.

He likes to play sports, mainly basketball, tackle football and paintball.

Hurshel has three dogs--Boss, a Malamute, Summer, a Dalmatian mix and Iyss, a Lab mix (pictured above).  He also has a Senegal Parrot named Kiwi (also pictured above).

Hurshel is the proud father of a son, with whom he spends as much time as possible 

Anita started her career in veterinary medicine in 2006.  She was the Director of Pet Nursing/Veterinary Technician in her previous job and currently works as a veterinary technician and is the supervisor of the kennel technicians.  She is also our Safety Coordinator.  Anita is a Certified Veterinary Assistant.  She has participated in an Emergency First Aid for Pets course, with an emphasis on CPR for animals.

She enjoys spending time with her family, most importantly her young daughter Selene.  She is so excited to watch her grow!  She is also going to school to obtain an Associates Degree in Animal Sciences. 

Anita has four pets: Lacy, a Pitbull Terrier; Jasmine, a chocolate Lab mix; and two cats, Duncan and Bo.

In her spare time, she enjoys reading, music, kickboxing and outdoor activities.

Anita says, "I love animals and get satisfaction when helping pets.  I like to have the opportunity to make a difference in any way possible!"

Casey has worked as a veterinary technician since 2009 and joined our team in April 2011.  Casey says, "I love working with animals and I look forward to learning as much as possible abaout their care!"  She is a Certified Veterinary Assistant.

Casey is a native Houstonian.  She spent the last four years living in San Diego where she got her start working in an animal hospital and was immediately hooked!  Upon return to Houston, she was eager to find another high quality hospital to work in and is happy she found us.

She has a Dachshund named Covers and a Puggle called Katie.  Casey is pictured with a client's pet named Tico.

Casey is studying Engineering at San Jacinto College, and in her limited spare time, enjoys reading, hiking, playing the occasional video game, and spending time with friends and family.
