Our Kennel Technicians

Janet has been interested in animals as long as she can remember.  She has worked with domestic pets in veterinary hospitals, exotics at the Downtown Aquarium and even in research at the Texas A&M Institute of Bioscience and Technology.  She is a Certified Veterinary Assistant.  She has participated in an Emergency First Aid for Pets course, with an emphasis on CPR for animals.

Her family is the most important thing to her, especially her three year old son.  She also has two dogs--Coco, a Chow/Sharpei mix and Slash, a pitbull mix (both pictured above).

Amy was born and raised in Iowa, there she attended Iowa State University and earned her degree in Elementary Education and Animal Ecology.

Amy moved to Houston in the fall of 2010 and joined our team in March 2011.  She is a Certified Veterinary Assistant, and hopes to one day work as a tiger handler.

Amy has two cats, Lyla and Sunshine (pictured).  She misses her two Iowa cats, Jake and Lacee.

Deborah joined our team in June 2011.  Prior to that, she worked in a local animal shelter.  She is studying to take the Certified Veterinary Assistant exam.

She has lived in Houston for most of her life.  Deborah says, "I have always loved and enjoyed animals from exotics to dogs and cats."  She has a dog named Howie and a cat named Lil' Bit, but has owned a boa constrictor, a South American iguana and a togu (lizard).

Deborah enjoys the outdoors from hiking and biking to swimming.
